It's true; you can lose weight just by drinking water. And to think of all that money I've spent on commercial diet-beverages with chemicals added to them in order to make the other chemicals taste better - when I could've had a glass of water... As obvious as it may seem that drinking water is better than drinking sodas, the truth is so much greater. Water is practically a miracle weight-loss drug - for more reasons than you can imagine.

For starters, you are made mostly of water; keeping yourself replenished improves your overall health - a part of which is maintaining healthy weight and metabolism. Drinking water allows your cells to get rid of waste in the "old water," much like changing the oil in a car - replacing the old, dirty oil with fresh, clean oil. Just like a car, you run a lot better when you're "fresh and clean." Also, as the water flushes old toxins and waste debris from your cells - including fat deposits - it cleans your kidneys and helps your body function more efficiently. Water also hydrates, flushes, stimulates, and improves the function of the digestive system, as well -- speeding digestion and the removal of waste before your body converts the undigested food into fat for storage somewhere on your body.

The average person should drink about one-half their body weight - in ounces - of water each day. For example, if you weigh 200-pounds, you would drink 100-ounces of water - about 3-liters. That might sound like a lot of water, but for many people, if they aren't drinking, they're eating. In fact, most of the times people eat, they are eating because they misinterpreted a "thirst signal" telling them they need water. You need much more water than food; but most people eat much more food than water. The average American is dehydrated and overweight. This isn't "bad;" but it is the result of thinking and behaviors we can change if we want a different result. But we have to do this for ourselves; no one else can do it for us.

When you are drinking enough water, you simply don't get hungry as often. Besides the fact that most of the times you think you're hungry, you're really thirsty, having water in your stomach sends a signal that you are "full." You won't want to eat with a stomach full of water. As you become hydrated, you'll notice yourself eating less, losing weight, feeling better, healthier, and more flexible, and having more energy and vitality. As you find yourself with more energy and flexibility (hydrated cells are flexible cells...), you will find yourself wanting to become more active - adding to your overall health and fitness.

It should be obvious that, if you drink water when you're thirsty - instead of a glass full of liquid sugar and chemicals - you will quench your thirst, replenish your cells, and clean your body. Quenching your body's thirst should be a life-enhancing experience, not one that makes you feel "heavy" and "polluted." The more water you drink, the less sodas, etc, you'll be able to drink; and, the less you drink beverages with sugars and chemicals in them, the less appeal they have. After drinking only water for a short while, you will be able to feel the chemical effects of the other beverages you consume - the buzzing of the caffeine, or the surge and drop of sugar, the acids burning away at you, etc... It simply feels better to drink water. And, with no side-effects, it's one of the best weight-loss drugs on the market.

Today i've come across something really funny...

A guy from other unit came to look for someone in my office.
Have you heard little boys who haven reach puberty?
Yes tt's his voice...

In addition, his action and the way he tok is damn sissy la...
At that point of time i was already laughing lyk crazy alr, as he pace around my office to clarify some stuff on the phone with his colleague...
What happen next almost break me into tears la.

As he need to retrieve his document so he say damn loud his name...
This was my exact words tt comes out from his mouth...

Sissy: Hi,I'm CPL Lin, can i retrieve this (confidential) from you.
Me: Ok can, can i have your full name and IC no.
Sissy: ok can, my ic no. is, S875xxxxA and my name is Joe Lin

Went for my Range on tues.

We went to this chinese restaurant behind Mustafa centre.

I nv expect myself being there in the first place and the whole area is pretty sleazy.

Alot of 2nd level "massages" lol...

After a short walk,

For those who like to drink cold water,

The sky was gloomy and we(plus Mr Mole) cont to go ahead as planned.
We reach east coast and unloaded our stuff.
As we were unpacking our stuff,
E rain turn from drizzle to a really heavy downpour!
But it only takes around 5 for e rain to stopped.

E seats r not as spacious as most cinema.

Back to e story.

Had our Signal fomation family day at ARMS.
The family has nothing to shout about.

The following entry will be a true story from a fren!

When I was on my way back to office in Robinson road.
As I was running out of time,
I took a cab from Traders Hotel.
As I was waiting for a cab,
a guy approaches me asking if I'm getting a cab,
I told him yes and in the meantime,
there was a NTUC cab turning in.
He waves "no" to the NTUC cab and that keep me wondering why I can't take that cab,
later he signal a silver cab over and ask me to take this cab instead.
I obliged as I think there should not be any problem.
The cab driver told me he wanted to go by Havelock road which I agreed due to lesser traffic.
In the meanwhile,
I notice there was some amount indicated in the meter under extra, which I assume it was the peak hour charges.
So for a 4.3km and 11 minutes ride,
we pass a ERP gantry costing a dollar extra,
I also realize the extra charges reflected $7.
I kept my cool and when I reach my destination,
he told me the total fare was $14.60.
I asked him to print out the receipt and he told me the ERP was $7.
I argued with him that we only cross one gantry and which powerful gantry in Singapore charges $7.
He replied "I DON"T KNOW".
Being a cab driver,
I was in disbelief when he told me he doesn't know.
I pointed to the charges reflected in the IU unit which reflected a dollar and that shut him up completely and he changed his story that most probably the machine is spoilt and he need to send the car back to the company to check. FYI, the car was a new KIA Premier.
I does not know whether he did it purposely or he really is ignorant but you guys should really be more careful when taking cab as what he did was trying to cheat me a "SINGAPOREAN" and I wonder how many tourists have been cheated for the extra "ERP" charges.
Please look at the meter when you take a cab.

Went to catch Fred Claus with Steph today at Cathay!
Overall rating 2/5 popcorn!
But in anyway, kids will certainy love it...

Anyway if u are gg to watch,
you shall not carry on reading as i'm gg to tok bout e film!

This show is bout Fred Claus (Vince Vaughn).
He has lived almost his entire life in his little brother's very large shadow. Fred tried but he could never live up to the example set by the younger Nicholas (Paul Giamatti),
who was just a perfect...well...Saint.
True to form,
Nicholas grew up to be the model of giving,
while Fred became the polar opposite:
A repo man who then steals what he repossesses.
Now Fred's dirty dealings have landed him in jail.
Despite Mrs. Claus' objections,
Nicholas agrees to bail his big brother out on one condition:
That he come to the North Pole and work off his debt making toys.

Caught it today with Kent at Cathay.

Was intro by my aunt.

The show is about A team of U.S. counter-terrorism investigators set out to find the perpetrators behind a deadly attack on Americans in a Middle Eastern country.

In order to work through the bureaucracy and cultural hostility,

the team enlists a local police officer, but still find itself target for the terrorists.

It was all e action tt makes e movie interesting la.

Afterwhich went for some retail therapy at Bugis despite limping.
Was really in pain and tried on some shoes.

Den was to TTSH for a checkup.
Dr Wong told me something tt ease my mind.
He say i should be fine after some rest!

But he gave me another 2 wks of MC, beofre another review!

Recent Post is bout all the sprained i had!
New addition, sprain my pai kai once again!

Was really freaking in a state of shock when tt happen yest!!
Telling myself tt is jus a light sprain at e basketball court in camp.
But i was literally sitting down as i can't even limb!

I was sent to TTSH once again!
Waited at A&E for quite awhile but was trying to diverse my pain by crapping with ah boon(thanks for ya help)

I was really in pain but saw something which made me forget bout it for a moment!.
Saw a chinese worker in his 20's had a finger in a biohazard transparent bag!!!
OMG, i nearly puke can...

Last night i hardly sleep for 3hrs la...
Was bascially getting myself awake coz of e stupid sprain argh...
If tmr morning the pain still there, guess i'll giv camp a miss!

Went nana hse for Majong today and i lost again.
This mth alone lose almost 200 hundred bucks le.
After which went to botak jones for dinner.
I think is so popular is coz of e uniqueness of there dishes.
We had salmon, fish and chips, cajun chix & cesar salad.
Nothing to shout about except their fries!
Their fries is suppose to be abit spicy coz of the chilli powder!
But for a non-spicy eater lyk me, enjoyed it!
Next time i'm there guess i'll try the beef patty with CHEESE!!!

Yest i had a primary school gathering over at wan sheng pub over at clake quay...
Meet kelly first after which saw Wan sheng, Caline, Sam, Cynthia and Vincent.

Alot of guys will be envying me when i tell them i actually had a total of 9mths MC since i got enlisted last yr june(tt is minus those 1, 2 days of mc)

During my BMT days, i still vividly rem all e fun and punishment we had!!!
But i always ask my tekong frenz 'given a chance will u experience tekong life over again?'
As for me, i will wan to go through it all over again minus afew idiots & also minus e field camp haha...
can u imagine not bathing for 7 days!!!(scatch scatch)

Upon POP, i was posted to Stagmont camp as a signaller...
Intitally i was damn piss at myself for not able to go to command sch la...
I did reasonably well for SIT test but fail my IPPT with a short of 2 chin up argh...

When i got there i still rem i was not alone....
Alot of frenz from my company got e same postin as me...

After a wk, i got out of course as i dislocated my left ankle outside!!!
got myself 3mths 3 wks of mc for tt....(i still rem how bad i twisted my ankle, it was perpendicularly 90 degrees twisted inwards)

Upon recovering i went back to camp n was given lots of responsiblities!!
I was lucky to hv very very nice superior in SI!!!

Around may this yr, i was send to do a MRI scan and they discover i hv a tear in my ligament...
My Doc advice me to go through e opr so he can reconstruct my ankle la...
Went through it all over again...

Staying home for e gud 1 mth plus as i cant walk...

Tmr is my first time back to camp to work after so long...
Going to help Weijie stand in for 2 days...
But guess i'll start gg back to camp although my mc still haven finish...

So at least i can giv myself an excuse not to play majong so much haha...

Hope i can wake up tmr....

After wat happen yest i've decided not to go for any phsio anymore!!
Everytime i goes for my review,
my therpist will always ask me do stupid stuff which i can do it myself...
So instead i went gym in e noon haha...(so PROUD of myself)

But to my suprise, its pretty crowded la...
Ask e instructor when is e off peak timing to come as i dun wan to wait for e equipments...
(also damn shy as i'm so unfit now la)

Another sight suprises me is tt little kids and i really mean little kids go gym nowadays...
I always hear from frenz tt if we start pumpin to young, we'll hv a hard time growing taller...
And how basketball help to grow taller..

Although this is my second time creating a blog, but i hope to start everything anew by entitling this post as my virgin post...

Many stuff has happen this few yrs

Lots of new frenz made,

Lots of new resposibility,

Lots of lesson learned,

Well enough of explantion!

Last night was fun with all e guys havin chalet at sentosa.
Went to Cafe Del Mar...
Is a nice chill out place n somehow or rather i went to know 1 gal name viven(must be all e alcohol we had)
I'm not those typical guy who lyks to pick on gals(i'm not gay btw)...
We had fun and i meaan lots of fun lol!!!

Lookin forward for the start of my army life once again, so tt i can giv myself a reason to quit the majong addiction lol...
